They are cheerful and bright with full of smiles anywhere , anytime,
honest people express themselves straightforward always.
This time of the year all the town in Japan where Brazilian are living is
in the midst of 「Festa Junina , winter festival 」
This day over 1000 Brazilian enjoyed the festival at the Joso City Office
car park. Ishizima office manager made an effort to get tents and chairs
free of charge from Joso City.
Kita Kanto Branch will try to build up foreigner friendly towns always.

Brazilian June Festival "Festa Junina"(winter festival)

This year Mr.Ishijima,FSUN Kitakantou Branch office manager, managed to get some tents and chairs free of charges from Joso City. Over 1,000 Brazilian gathered from many parts of Japan, though it sprinkled. They enjoyed festival with Brazilian foods and music.

Brazilian are always full of smile any time, any where with their honest hearts and cheerfulness.

the guests at the event to enthusiasm.

Brazilian June Festival "Festa Junina" (winter festival)
July 26, 2009

"Festa Junina" of Brazilian School was opened filled up with cheerful Smba and bright smiles. Dressed up children with their mothers tricks painted by marker pens on their faces, flecks to girls and beard to boys.

Brazilian foods(left side photo). from the top of left side, beef millet, fried chicken coxinha, typical Brazilian food churrasco, pastel with cheese, garana drink familiar in Japan, and very sweet dessert . Lot of meat, oil, and sugar ! Enough to get fat ! !

Awarding ceremony for Mr. Caipirinha and Ms　Caipirinha．They tried to explain the meanings of the award, but couldn't understand after all. When they said it's a "kind of lottery" according to our question, it became more and more chaotic (laugh).

Brazilian School (Escola Dograus do Saber, principal Tereza Sakagami)
Stay learning at Joso-shi「Asunaro no Sato」with the corporation of
FSUN KITA KANTO BRUNCH

「Asunaro no Sato」at Ibaraki-ken Joso-shi is filled with nature where rich minds can be brought up. Brazilian school at Joso-shi chose this facility as the stay learning place for the first time with the corporation of FSUN KITA KANTO BRUNCH.

The drum group 「KOBU TAIKO」represented by Yoko Ueda at Ryugasaki-shi played drum with good explanation to the children. They tried drum beating together and enjoyed Japanese sound. The children learned beating very well as they expected with preeminent sense of rhythms. They enjoyed bamboo dragonflies, soap bubbles, paper balloons and lotteries, and cultural exchange between Brazil and Japan also.

This event was broad casted by SKY PERFECT TV「Channel 334」.

March 2, 2009 　　　　Piano concert for the disabled people

The piano concert was promoted by the Ushiku Disabled People Federation at the Ushiku City Main Continuing Education Center ,supported by FSUN KITA KANTOU BRANCH. Many audiences came over from neighboring cities and village. They enjoyed classical pianist Mari Terada's talk and play elaborated to have fun with them filling up the hall with excitement. After talking them that Beethoven had lost his hearing, she played The Tempest Allegretto moved them to tears. It was tremendous time.
March 2, 2009 Piano concert for Souaien, the children protection welfare facility
Mari Terada visited the facility. They say it is the first experience that they listen to the piano play by the professional pianist after the facility was established 60 years ago. Children were filled with admiration at her play.
March 7, 2009 　　　　The 5th Dream Kids Tennis Competition
Annual Dream Kids Tennis Competition was held at Ushiku Athletic Ground under the nice weather.
Children enjoyed the game with their improved skills. Coaches looked happy with children's skills.
Thanks to Honna coach, Terada coach, Maeda coach and Komatsu coach.

The foundation for the Support of the United Nations is the organization approved by the Cabinet based on the NPO law in Sept. 1999. 

THE FOUNDATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE UNITED NATIONS, INC. [FSUN] is the foundation established in New York in the United States in 1988.
FSUN is well known NGO that support the United Nations in the international society through its positive participation in a variety of international conferences and support services to the developing countries since it established. In Japan its activity was limited within the range as an arbitrary party.

FSUN has the integrated consultaion qualification of Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
